Welcome to the NEW official website for the Texas Reining Horse Association (TRHA).
While the original TRHA was founded in 1985, it recently merged with the West Texas Reining Horse Association (WTRHA) forming an affiliate group of some of the highest level of competitors in the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) to represent our area in both local and national competitions. TRHA is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization committed to the support and growth of its members by suppling educational and riding opportunities to all levels of riders.
The TRHA is dedicated to promoting the sport of reining in Texas with a positive environment where members celebrate and encourage the growth and success of all riders.

Participation in the National Reining Horse Association’s North American Affiliate show in Tulsa (late August-Early September- must designate affiliate in July) and if top 10 in Tulsa, advance to the NRHA year end Affiliate Finals in OKC, Late Nov. – early Dec. at the NRHA Futurity show)- great prizes and added money to classes.
